Well, British tabloidsneverforget a vendetta, and it has used the recent 3DS price cut as another excuse to continue the story it more or less invented....

Recent domain name registrations spotted bysuperannuationmay hint at the future of Ubisoft’s biggest franchise, as well as the location of a long overdue sequel. The domain name assassinscreedbrotherhood.com was registered on April 14, and could be a number of things. The most obvious would be the name of an upcomingAssassin’s Creedtitle; the publisher has already revealed that it plans to ship afollow up toAssassin’s Creed 2this year. Of course,Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhoodwould make a great name for a game, but could also be a catch-all web destination for the franchise....

Rumors ofan EA Sports-developedNBA Jamrevivalare true. This morning, the publisher officially announcedEA Sports NBA Jam, a Wii-exclusive throwback to the original arcade title with a “fresh new take” on the series. As for what’s being introduced to the franchise, the publisher wasn’t specific in the official release materials. But do expect new modes, Wii visuals, characters and what EA PR is calling “gameplay depth.” There’s no concrete release date (it’s expected to hit this year) or price, or even an honorable Bill Clinton mention....
