More! More 3DS games. These hold-me-overs are barely holding me over. I need a big, beefy RPG to dig into. Tales of the Abyss has just received a solid launch date for Japan: May 19th. This week’s Jump confirms the date and the price, 6,090 yen ($74). The game will also ship with a bonus drama CD featuring an original skit that was prepared just for this release, saysAndriasang. There’s no word yet on a release here but you know that they’re going to bring it over....

The PSPgo was a waste of time andspace. Objective, scientific, fact. Expensive, restricted, and lacking a library to back up its price, Sony’s attempt to produce an “all-digital” handheld didn’t work, and Team 17 believes the failure is a simple matter of cost. “Digital Distribution is here to stay” explains studio boss Martyn Brown. “I think the issues with the PSPgo were somewhat different, basically the cost of the hardware, the software library and it’s pricing — the problem wasn’t that it was a digital device — look at the iPhone & appstore....
