When we weren’t watching, Sony went and revamped their official PS3 Bluetooth headset. They took a communication device that was okay and made it great. Sure, you could pick from just about any Bluetooth headset out there to use with your PS3, but the one Sony made specifically for use with their console seems like the best bet. They’ve put some smart functionality into this little, sleek headset, and just in time for the holidays....

It is calledMinotaur China Shopand it is, in my opinion, their best game yet. Since you liked their other two games, you know what a significant compliment that is. If you’ve not been following the long Bethesda vs. Interplay struggle, take my advice — don’t. It’s utterly stupid and depressing, and the latest chapter takes it to a whole new realm of stupid. Bethesda has claimed that it only allowed Interplay to use theFalloutname, and nothing else related to the franchise. Basically, Interplay can call its upcoming MMOFallout, but it would ostensibly have to be a totally different game. It’s quite nonsensical, and Interplay has fired back with that very sentiment....
With the recession biting deep, it looks like Christmas might be bleak for quite a few people. Fortunately for Sony, the PlayStation 3 is apparently doing quite well for itself, leading Sony to declare its own bullishness for the holiday season. For many gamers, thePSN downtimewas an excruciating wait. However, while we’vehad our online services backfor a while, Japanese PS3s still lack connectivity. Crystal Dynamics has officially revealed its newTomb Raidergame today, except it’s kind of not. The studio has eschewed theTomb Raidername for this series reboot, instead calling itLara Croft and the Guardian of Light. Even more surprisingly, the game will not be a retail release, but a digital download. Right now, there are no further details on the game, other than it will be “very different to what people might be expecting....
Pre-order gifts are all the rage these days, and who is Valve to deny a trend? You may have heard thatLeft 4 Dead 2will be offering an in-game treat to those who pre-order the sequel at select retailers, and that treat is anexclusive melee weapon, the baseball bat. The bat will, apparently, not just be a re-skin of the cricket bat that is available to everybody in the game. It will have its own unique characteristics to make it a worthwhile and desirable brain-batterer....
The second downloadable content pack forLeft 4 Dead,Crash Course, is coming out on September 29. It’s later than whatwe originally heard, but not by much. The new DLC will have a new single-player campaign, a new multiplayer map and bridges the gap between the “No Mercy” and “Death Toll” scenarios. A new recharge timer for infected teammates and new behavior for item spawning is also coming along with this update....
