The aim of developer Reverge Labs is to make the most balanced yet most fun fighter possible, and that means focusing on quality over quantity....

While I’d love to believe that these are real guns, they’re actually just a type of BB gun, basically. Aeria Games today launched its largest content update ever forfree-to-play MMORPGEden Eternal. The update does indeed boast a sizable list of features. The most significant change is that the game’s level cap is being increased from 50 to 55. This will allow players to unlock and use the anticipated Warlock character class when they reach the new cap. The Warlock class can be unlocked at level 55 when you have both the Magician and the Shaman classes leveled to 50....

I know last week I used a Kunt and the Gang video for GotW, but screw it, I’m using another one. I may use every single one Kunt has. He is that amazing. This is one of the band’s newer songs, “Wank Fantasy.” You’ll find it is highly accomlished and makes for brilliant listening. The perfect party track, if it pleases. Yes, I’m seriously writing about a bandana. Look, I think it’s pretty cool. We’ve been talking about what comes in the special edition release of upcoming PSP gameMetal Gear Solid: Peace Walkerfor a bit now, but this bandana thing is new, and looks to be a pre-order bonus. This is a strange contest, but I’ve always wanted to get my name in the credits of a high-profile videogame, so I’m willing to do anything. This one is easy, though. All you need to do is name the song used in the E3 trailer forGran Turismo 5, by artist Daiki Kasho. If your name is chosen for the track you’ll find that your name will be placed in the Special Thanks section of the game’s credits....

The fine folks at Grasshopper Manufacture immediately jumped to action to help out after the March earthquakes and tsunami in Japan, and now they send word that they’ve managed to pull together more than $80,000 for relief funds through various efforts. Their first iOS app,Frog Minutes, helped out quite a bit, as 100 percent of the proceeds went to relief funds. It quickly jumped to the top of the iOS Japan sales charts and has since pulled in about $20,000....

Remember whendirector Guillermo Del Toro said he was working on a game with THQ? And then THQ turned around and totally denied it? Well, not THQ is ready to confirm its existence. Well, at least THQ’s core games guruDanny Bilsonis. “He’s a gamer who wants to make a great game,” Bilson said about the director at the IGDA Leadership Forum,” and has very interesting points of view and is partnered very closely with myself and my writing partner....

Square Enix is showing up at Gamescom 2010 next week with a bunch of games. They plan to have their hottest stuff playable on the show floor, including: This show is good timing for them as most of these games are about to be released in the coming months. They’ll also be showing offDeus Ex: Human Revolutionfrom Eidos for the first time to the public. It is a lovely looking game....
