The other day, I saidKinect appeals to nobody. I’ll be honest, I didn’t expect the glorified EyeToy to sell all that well. However, I underestimated exactly how hard Microsoft would try in order to push Kinect to the millions of idiots who infest the world. Now Microsoft has bought the lowest common denominator imaginable — Justin Bieber — and thus Kinect will sell billions. Yep, the shameless cartoon-faced homunculus opened his world tour show with footage of himself basically advertising Kinect, much to the delight of the screaming harpies who constantly beg him tofollow them on Twitter....

The end of the NFL lockout in late July kicked off the league’s usual flurry of offseason personnel moves (trades, signings, etc.), except this time, the lockout caused the free-agency period to be compressed into the space of a few weeks. Come September, many familiar faces will be suiting up in new places, including cornerback Nnamdi Asomugha (formerly of the Oakland Raiders, now of the Philadelphia Eagles). TheMadden NFL 12demo came out on Monday, so by this point, EA Tiburon has almost certainly finalized the on-disc rosters....

ZEN Studios’Marvel Pinballcame out late last year, but if you haven’t tried it yet there’s a new demo now out. ZEN has just announced the release of the Marvel Pinball demo on PlayStation Network, PS3 owners. Downloading the demo gives you the Amazing Spider-Man and Wolverine tables for free. Buy the full game on PSN and you’ll get access to the other tables: Invincible Iron Man and Blade. ZEN says that the game will see new additions beyond the four tables soon....
