Here’s a sleek new trailer advertising the multiplayer component ofKillzone 3. It was released to get us all pumped up for the beta, and I have to say that it does the trick pretty well. It shows off the classes, the jetpacks, the maps and the mechs, all dripping in Brian Cox’s silky voice. Killzone 3is, naturally, one of my most anticipated games of next year. As a big fan of the last game, I’m really looking forward to donning a red-eyed gas mask and destroying yet more fools in the name of the Helghast....

Finally! E3 will be when we figure out just what the heckPixelJunk Lifelikeis all about. The teaser sure was weird and all, but that dates back to September. Guess Q-Games founder Dylan Cuthbert wasn’t lying when he said we’d get “No more info until it’s done.” Cuthbert also wasn’t lyingwhen he tweetedabout the studio’s E3 line-up earlier today. PlayStation 2 and Wii owners can whine all they’d like about getting some downloadable content for their respective versions ofRock Band. But guess what? It’s not happening. However, Harmonix and MTV Games have announced a solution today in the form of a retail disc,Rock Band Track Pack Volume 1, which will hit shelves on July 15 for $29.99. The disc will include 20 tracks, which puts each song at $1.50, slightly cheaper (in most cases) than the DLC available for Xbox 360 and PS3....

The eternally upcoming Indiana Jones next-generation title has been canned, according to sources close toIGN. Developers working on the title have been shifted to other projects. Greener pastures, indeed. This shouldn’t be a total surprise. The game made its rounds back in 2006, but since, it has been mostly dark. The PR engines like to keep thumping after a game is announced. If the engines can’t be heard, there’s a big, big problem....

Tecmo Koei has today announced a “unique partnership” with Nintendo as it plans to bring the Wii-exclusiveSamurai Warriors 3to North America. Billed as an “evolution” of the previous games, with a new game mode and storyline,Samurai Warriors 3was a pretty huge game in Japan, and Nintendo was all over it when it launched over there. Surprising that Nintendo of America is just as keen though. In any case,SW3is a pretty robust package, featuring online co-op and a special game mode inspired by Shigeru Miyamoto’s Famicon titleNazo no Murasamejo....

Chair’s creative director Donald Mustard set out make the game he wanted to play, or at least inspire another developer to make something similar. As we told you a few days ago,Sega pulled the hostess barsout of our localized version of PS3 gameYakuza 3. If you’re anything like me, you were disappointed. I’m glad that Destructoid readers are a bit more level headed than some other site’s readers. I’m with most of you in saying that a gimped version is better than none at all. And while no one wants to hear that a localized game does not come with 100% of the original content, I’m still glad that Sega took the time to bring this fine videogame to North American and Europe....
