Although I loved the look ofFinal Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: My Life as a King, I found I was never able to get into it the way I wished I could have. Maybe I’ll have that chance again now thatFinal Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: My Life as a Darklordis finally coming out. The game will be available starting July 17th, and puts you in the shoes of Mira, daughter of the Darklord and the gal responsible for keeping goody two shoes heroes out of her tower....

This new scenario takes place in a simulation that puts players right in the middle of the liberation of Anchorage, Alaska. That, of course, explains the snows. During THQ’s earnings call today, CEO Brian Farrell gave us the latest on all thingsRed Faction. Speaking aboutRed Faction: Guerrilla, he said “I think we did a great job on the game; I think we did an average job on demand creation.” Obviously THQ doesn’t want to make the same mistake again. Farrell explained that we’ll be able to see the company’s commitment toward “demand creation” with the next game when they “unveil it later this month....
Japanese news sourceNikkeihas confirmed at least one of the manyProject Cafe/Wii 2 rumors. They say that the controller will feature a six-inch touchscreen at its center, allowing for tablet-like controls of games. As rumored, there will also be buttons to be used alongside this touchscreen. A camera will also let you snap pictures of your face, much like you’re able to on the Nintendo 3DS. It has also been confirmed that the controller can be used as a stand-alone game device, as it’s equipped with a battery that will support play on-the-go....

Retail has still got it. Nintendo has made their fortune these past few decades on retail sales, and they’re not about to give up on them now. While they’ve dipped their toes in the downloadable games pool with the Wii and the DSi, they still have faith that retail sales will continue to serve their massive pocketbooks, with Nintendo president Satoru Iwata givng retail the “competitive edge.” “I do not believe the competitive edge that packaged software has today will easily be taken up any time soon,” Iwata said in a recent conference call....

It’s out. It’s finally out. Afterall this time, Paul Robertson’s latest masterpiece has finally been released. I think I can die happy now.The planet has been invaded by shape shifting aliens and a group of people have taken it upon themselves to save the planet from the alien invaders.
