Da Vinci has been kidnapped in the newAssassin’s Creed: Brotherhooddownloadable content and it’s up to Ezio to findCarlos FerroDa Vinci. The new content is out this week for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 for $9.99 and also includes two new gameplay modes, both ofwhich are detailed here. Moonshot Games is a studio formed by ex-Bungie folks who are working on a side-scrolling shooter. And, according to the Internet’s ownSam Houston, there’s a smidge of ex-Harmonix action going on at the company now, too. The game is namedFallen Frontier, and attached is the debut trailer. They’re offering up a few more detailshere, on the official site. For PAX East attendees, look for booth #759 stuck between Haunted Temple Studios and Robot Entertainment....

Disney Publishing has released its DisneyEpic MickeyApp for iDevices today; it’s available now on the App store. The application features access to theEpic Mickeydigital comic, entitled “Tales of the Wasteland.” The first part, “Clocktower Cleaners,” is available as a free download; five more comics can be purchased in a bundle for $2.99. The comic books will offer readers insight into the world of the Wasteland, which appears in the upcoming game, as well as a look at some of the title’s characters....

Normally, mentions of summer camp bring images of bonfires, cute camp counselors, and possibly flutes. But thanks to theSteam Summer Camp Sale, people can think of things like crowbars, bejewels, and much more! I’ve always been envious of my PC-owning brethren, so I finally succumbed to installing Steam for Mac. It might not have all the offerings that PC does, but I’m already having a good time checking out the games....

It’s unreal how much news we’ve been hearing about Unreal Engine 3 lately. Gameloft has just announced a licensing agreement with Epic Games to use their Unreal Engine 3 to make four new games. They say that two will be launched this year, with the other two to follow in 2012. “Gameloft is very pleased to partner with Epic, especially with their ability to stay ahead of the curve and continually place the best game engine technology in developers’ hands at any given point in time,” said Julien Fournials, vice president of production, Gameloft....

A special version of Good Old Games has been whipped up for some sort of announcement that’s going to happen on Tuesday. The new site,viewable here, is covered in police tape and features ASCII nonsense (Or is it?), a suspicious-looking fellow, and a creature. Who knows what it all means. Certainly not me! Motion controls are coming and there is nothing you can do about it. They’re coming to your favorite games too, not just new ones. With the newPlayStation Move siteup and running we can check out which games will feature Move controls. Nothing much surprising there under the featured game list… wait, is thatGran Turismo 5? Well, that’s interesting to say the least. Could Move work withGT5? Now, it should be kept in mind that this is simply under a listing of featured games on the site, so it may be that Sony is just randomly listingGran Turismo 5as a cool game for the PS3....

Earlier this weekGrand Theft Auto IVstarted stuttering for many people when they went to play it on their PC. This was because of a recent Windows Live update that made the game start to stutter or stutter even worse than it already had. The issue, which caused a minor splash,has now been fixedso everyone here that wasn’t complaining about it can go back to doing just that. Microsoftreleased a brief sentence about the fix, “Thanks for your patience, a new update is available that addresses the stuttering issue withGTA IV....

Last night inSan Francisco, and apparently at the NYCHalo 3event, Microsoft gave away these very sweetHalo 3-themed Zunes. Being a Zune owner myself, I was ready to chop off a finger to get one of these bad boys to take home. They gave away three of them based on a random draw-a-business-card-from-a-hat style and unfortunately because Jesus hates me, I did not win. Damn you Jesus, DAMN YOU! [Pic viaGizmodo]...

Here’s a bunch of new screens for Grasshopper’sShadows of the Damned. The game launches June 21 and I’m incredibly excited for it. So are you. Even if you think you’re not, just trust me, you are. The game features big guns, crazy monsters, and the typical eccentric premises that Suda 51 and his team are known for. I’m expecting some pretty awesome stuff here.

I’m making sure I get it on the ground floor with this, because I really want to see what it’s like. OriginallyHellgate: London, this 2007 game became one of the most famous examples of just how hard a new MMO can crash in the competitive market. Bethesda has decided thattoday is the dayfor someRAGEscreens. If you’ve not heard of this game, it’ll be id Software’s first offering on the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, though it’ll naturally hit the PC too. It’s a first-person-shooter set in a mutant-infested post apocalyptic wasteland. It also features ratherfantasticlooking mayors, if these new shots are to be believed. Just look at that guy. He could be a racist pedophile and get my vote with a hat like that!...
