In the past few days Hideo Kojimahas been tweeting abouta 10 part series of commercials he will be releasing forMetal Gear Solid: Peacewalker. He was concerned that he wouldn’t be able to show off the game correctly and that the PSP’s limited graphical powers (compared to a console) would turn people away. Mod time: N64 into a Game Gear

Thank goodness for modders, Without them we wouldn’t be able to take one awkwardly shaped gaming system and cram it into another one to make it portable. Case in point is this mod from Evil Nod where he has placed a Nintendo 64 inside a Game Gear. Years ago I would have made a Sega/Nintendo wars joke here, but with Sonic all over the Wii and DS the time for jokes like that has clearly passed....

Modern Warfare 2 DLC not being made until game is ready

One of the major issues concerning the subject of downloadable content is the “It should have been on the disc argument,” a common complaint for DLC that has been developed at the same time as the actual game. Fortunately forModern Warfare 2fans, no such complaints can be levied, as Infinity Ward will be making sure the full game is finished before bringing any extra content out. “We haven’t even begun thinking about what our DLC will be, Let alone finish any,” said community manager Robert Bowling, addressing fan concerns on theofficial forums....

New details on Tokyo Jungle confirm that yep, it’s weird

When I posted aboutTokyo Jungleyesterday, I noted that the game promised something called “hunting action.” Many of you took this to mean thatTokyo Junglewas yet another contender forMonster Hunter‘s dominance of the monster-hunting game space, except this time involving real-life endangered species. However, now that our available information level has upgraded from “blurryFamitsuscans” to “low-resFamitsuscreens”, you might be happy (or disappointed) to know thatTokyo Jungleis noMonster Hunterclone. Instead, it looks like a weird sort of side-scrolling action-adventure, where you play as ananimalroaming the apparently depopulated city of Tokyo in the year 20XX....

Courtesy ofJeux-France, enjoy this new video showing off three of the available mini-games inRayman Raving Rabbids 2.Bright, colorful, loud and extremely insane, the sequel to the original comedic Wii launch title looks set to be at once both charming and irritating at once. Also, it will perhaps cement theRaving Rabbidsseries as the cream of the crop of Wii mini-game compilations. I overlooked the original but the allure of the Rabbids is proving too strong to resist....
