Bungie job posting might point to new direction

Bungie is looking for a new Lead Writer, somebody to manage a team of writers, blah blah blah. If you’ve got a lot of experience and such, well, maybe they’ll hire you. That’s not the interesting bit about the position. One of the things mentioned specifically as “a plus” is experience with “branching or non-linear narrative.” Now that would be something really different from what I’ve come to expect from Bungie....

Dante’s Inferno team doesn’t mind God of War comparisons

Not many would likenDante’s InfernotoDuck Hunt. The brutal action title set in the underbelly of Hell has neither ducks, laughing dogs or even the color blue. But we do compare it to theGod of War. It’s only natural, of course: both titles deliver plenty of brown and buckets — nay, barrels— full of gore. While seemingly annoying, it appears as though this comparison doesn’t irk theDanteteam. In fact, they consider it a compliment if producer Jonathan Knight does indeed speak for the whole team....
