It’s disappointing that I think a lot of people overlooked Rockstar’sBullyon the PlayStation 2. For anyone who dismissed it as “Grand Theft Autoin a private school,” I have news for you — you’re close. ButBullywas an impressively polished game, with enough variation in gameplay to keep it interesting, and some clever writing pulling it all together. On March 4, Rockstar will be releasingBully: Scholarship Editionfor the Wii and Xbox 360, and I’m going to have to insist that anyone who missed it the first time around picks it up....

Today Sony has announced that the downloadable games they call minis has reached the one million downloads mark. Between the US and PAL territories, on both the PSP and the PS3, a million little games have been pulled down since the 2009 launch. Right now there’s about 85 titles. This mod of a Nintendo 64 to make it portable would make any Lakitu happy. It’s a cloud! Cndowning says this, his second N64 mod, was way easier than the last, taking him only about six weeks to complete. The part list includes a custom formed case, a Nintendo 64 with Expansion Pack, a Zenith PS1 screen with speakers and some electrical components to make this all work. Almost everything came from eBay....

At Namco Bandai’s Pre-E3 event last week,Enslaved: Odyssey to the Westtook my by surprise. I knew of the upcoming title from the makers ofHeavenly Sword, but I had no idea it was so pretty until I set eyes on it in action! As someone who has only recently come to possess a PlayStation 3, I have paid almost no attention toHeavy Rain. Creating anticipation in myself for a game for which I do not have the hardware generally holds little appeal. Even though I’m completely confused by the storyline inRed Vs Blueat this point, I still love watching the series. It’s still funny and the action stuff is better than ever thanks to Monty Oum. Season 9 is coming out this Summer and the first trailer reveals that we’ll be seeing more of the Project Freelancer aspect. Are any of you still into the series?

Renegade Kid‘s alien-blasting FPS,Moon, is coming out this November, and despite the fact that their first title,Dementium, didn’t stick with me as much as I’d hoped, I’m still pretty interested to check this new one out ( I have to admit I have a soft spot for any company who is so obviously interested in scary subject matter).
