Need for Speed: NITROis already looking to be quite colorful and stylish from what we have seen so far, but EA Montreal is taking it one step further by bringing on tokidoki, Upper Playground, and i am 8-bit to up the ante. All three brands will be supplying custom skins, artwork, and even in-game brushes for you to customize your own slick rides. Now this may not seem like a huge deal to some of you, and most of the people who playNITROwill probably be too young or simply not know what something like i am 8-bit is, but I always love a good collaboration....

Nintendo wouldn’t have revealed the Nintendo 3DS at E3 unless it had a final design, would it? According to Reggie Fils-Aime, Nintendo’s North American President and chief operating officer, we could be seeing some changes before the device hits shelves. But Fils-Aime, known best for kicking ass and taking names, could be wrong. In a Wired interview with 3DS producer Hideo Konno published this week, we’ve learned that what we’re seeing is likely what we’re going to get....

While there are still a reasonable amount of big-budget titles on the horizon, it’s interesting to see which games have been the most popular with consumers thus far. Arc System Works might think it’s cool to releaseBlazBlue: Continuum Shift— the sequel to last year’sCalamity Trigger— in Japanese arcades, but we gaijin don’t have that luxury anymore.
