During the interview, we talk about the inclusion of voice actors like Daniel Craig and the use of motion capture from 007’s very own stunt double to help bring a deeper spy experience. We discuss the newMI6 Ops missions, the inclusion of multiplayer and that online matchmaking will still allow me to have golden-gun-only matches....

In a financial update today,Take-Two has announcedthat the release ofGrand Theft Auto IVhas been pushed back until next year. Green Man Gaming brings trade-ins to digital distribution

And with that, a new digital delivery service enters the fray.Green Man Gamingpromises to change one of the most crucial limiting factors of game downloads: the inability to sell back your used games. Trading in “used” files of your games for credits doesn’t make a whole lot of sense, does it? But that’s exactly what GMG will allow you to do when it launches in the first quarter of this year with an estimated 400 games....

Hands-on with Crysis 2

Like many gamers, the firstCrysiswas something I never really had the opportunity to play. Certainly not anywhere near maximum settings, at least. The game’s ridiculous system requirements were a barrier I simply couldn’t conceive of crossing. With CryEngine 3 making it possible for console users to be able to play the next game, my interest level has increased exponentially. In a hands-on demo at E3, I had the opportunity to see what all the fuss is about and I have to admit that what Crytek has in store has some amazing potential....

Hands-on: Red Faction: Armageddon

One week later and I still can’t stop thinking aboutRed Faction: Armageddon. Specifically, the new weapons are just awesome. The weapons like the Magnet gun are just perfect when combined withRed Faction’sdestruction engine. Aside from the wonderful new weapons, I also got a taste ofArmageddon’sstory, fought against the new alien creatures and got a feel for the new, structured linearity in missions. Red Faction: Armageddon(Xbox 360 [Previewed], PS3, PC)Developer: VolitionPublisher: THQTo be released: May 2011...

Here’s some screens for Ace Combat: Assault Horizon

A new batch of screenshots forAce Combat: Assault Horizonrecently came out and, as you might expect, they contain some jet planes that you can expect to take for a spin yourself. They are not just any jet planes though, as these are four newly revealed jets; the F-4E “Phantom II,” F-15E “Strike Eagle,” F-16F “Fighting Falcon” and FA-18F “Super Hornet” all round out the list. They all contain various stats and ease-of-control, with the Phantom II being notable because it can only be obtained by pre-ordering the game before its October 11th release date and the Super Hornet sounding like it is the end-all jet to use because of its ability to maneuver easily at any speed and seemingly having no weaknesses....

Hey Ash, Whatcha Playin: Viva Pinata

Behold, ’tis the “exclusive, between-seasons” episode of HAWP that was shown at today’s PAX panel. Not so exclusive NOW, is it? Ha. Hahaha. Muahahah-alright, that’s enough. This paragraph is usually the part that would be full of stuff about Anthony filming the episode and how Ashley Davis is sitting next to him, because that’s a thing that he says a lot for some reason. But I’m not Anthony and I don’t know anything about filming this episode, and no one is sitting next to me except the Chinese lady who followed me home from the massage parlor, and she’s more kind of flopped over with her head almost touching the floor and … oh my, that … wow, that can’t be good....

If you like little girls, we’ve found you a dress-up game!

Sometimes we get the most random tips sent in to Destructoid HQ, and sometimes we feel the need to chase them up just in case there’s an interesting story at the end of them. Every now and then, our intrepidity backfiresbadly, like it did this morning when I decided to see what an email advertising a “Gravure Eye Doll” was all about. The link, by the way, is not safe for work....

Interstellar Marines is both innovative and unoriginal

I’m torn. On the one hand, indie titleInterstellar Marineshas one of the coolest development structures I’ve yet seen. Leading up to an eventual release of a full game, the team is releasing small, free, playable previews that each focus on a different one of the game’s mechanics. They released “Bullseye,” a shooting gallery game, a couple days ago. Surprisingly, it’s quite enjoyable as a self-contained game; there are a hell of a lot of levels that you unlock by netting huge scores, and the levels themselves are enjoyably fast-paced (for a game where you shoot at cardboard cutouts, anyway) and well-balanced....

Jade Empire is probably not a dead franchise

With the final installment of Commander Shepard’s tale drawing to a close, the folks over at BioWare will be able to concentrate their creative genius somewhere else, and the possibility ofanotherJade Empiregame is not totally out of the question. According to company co-founders Ray Muzyka and Greg Zeschuk another tale from that universe may be surfacing some time soon. This isn’t an announcement of a new game, and nobody at BioWare is claiming the contrary but they haven’t forgotten about theJade Empireworld, which means there is still hope....
