However,180is worth checking out for its cool flip gimmick and robust challenge. It’s free, it’s a puzzle game. If you like puzzle games, get it. If you hate puzzle games, don’t. You know someone’s thought of everything when you realize that what you see before you is an arcade machine that dispenses beer. The Gamerator is just that: An arcade cabinet that contains a chilly kegerator in the rear, which holds approximately a 1/4 keg. It comes preloaded with 187 classic arcade games, although unfortunately you have to add your own beer. I know that we finally got to see a bit of what Microsoft had up their sleeves for mobile gaming at the recent Mobile Congress. I’d guess that anyone even remotely interested sat up and took notice of the changes Windows 7 Mobile would bring to your pocket. Today I got a better look at how gaming is going to work on the platform. Everything from the slick W7M interface to the Xbox Live integration impressed in this meeting with Charlie Kindel, program manager for the Windows Phone Application Platform & Developer Experience, and Michael Klucher, lead program manager at XNA Game Studio....

Value is a subjective thing. I could never personally justify spending thousands of dollars for a chair just because somebody says it’s an antique. That said, I spend a ridiculous amount of money buying the latest videogames that I’m sure others would find a complete waste of one’s funds. From today until August 17, Comcast is giving a free Wii to anyone who signs up for their Preferred Plus and Premier Triple Play packages. The partnership, according to Comcast’s press release, is “merging together the joy of a super-fun video gaming experience with the power of super-fast Internet speed.” What they fail to mention is that the joy can only be experienced after calling up your buddy, asking for his Friend code, and then buying a Bluetooth headset so you can keep talking to him on the phone while you play a game together....
