A new videogame retailer is opening up in the greater Chicago area that’s making some ambitious moves. Game Pazzo will be a 13,000 square foot gaming shop. To put that in perspective, that’s the size of something like a Walgreens. That’s a lot of space for a new and used game store. The shop will also have over thirty gaming stations filling much of that space, armed with HD televisions, seating, high-end headsets and more — all accessories which can later be sold to customers as used product....

Google continues their plans for complete Internet domination with the reveal of the Chrome web store. The store will be a central location for web applications that can be installed on any “modern browser” despite being named after Google’s web browser. The store will sell various types of apps and videogames look to play a big part asPlants vs ZombiesandLego Star Warswere teased in the upcoming store’s lineup. Google isn’t talking specifics on their plans as of yet, but the store should be open later this year....
This is the obligatory sentence in which I ramble on about howHawkenis remarkably pretty for an independent PC game. Seriously, have you seen this mech combat title in motion? It almost seems too good to be true, but talent combined with the ever-improving Unreal Engine means these visual feats are achievable. Greed Corpis a turn-based strategy game which released on Xbox Live and PlayStation Network back in February. It’s mighty strange that a title for a genre which I would think truly has its home on the PC hadn’t wound up there but that’s an oddity soon to be rectified. Next week, on December 10th,Greed Corpwill release on Steam. It sounds as though the PC users are being rewarded for having to wait....
