To complimentmy earlier gleeover how well this title is turning out, I present you the above: a brand-new trailer for Eidos’Kane & Lynch: Dead Men.Since it’s become quite obvious that game developers are ignoring my decades-old pleas for aTango & Cashvideo game, settling forKane & Lynchis going to have to do. Obviously they don’t have the rugged machismo of a Stallone or a Russell, and programming a minigame wherein you’re asked to shoot people and then deliver dead-pan wit would be difficult at best, but providing players with the opportunity to bond over the homoerotic undertones of a duo bent on spraying hot lead at hundreds of dudes is a good start....

Funny enough, most of the badass cosplayers weren’t even videogame related. Case in point:This Buzz Lightyear costume. What’s also becoming pretty great is that videogame companies are integrating professional level cosplaying. TheLollipop Chainsaw,JourneyandBioShock Infinitebooths had some great cosplayers. Then there’s this randomX-COMdisplaywas just placed in the middle of the convention floor. So yeah, PAX keeps getting better cosplayers and I’m all for it! *Thanks to community member Joy for taking all of these pictures....

We’reconstantly remindedthat games take time to make and the good ones can take even longer than we’d like. Downloadable content is no longer the exception to this rule. Earlier this afternoon, Bethesda Softworks announced that PlayStation 3Fallout 3DLC wouldn’t be arriving until late September. In a posting on theofficial PlayStation blog, Bethesda production director Ashley Cheng said Bethesda is “knee deep in testing” and hope to “have the first DLC out by the end of September” as opposed to the June release we expected....

PlayStation Home will see big changes later this year. Sony is working to overhaul the focus completely, changing Home from a virtual world experience to a game world, pushing it forward as a social games platform. Last week I spoke with PlayStation Home Director Jack Buser, and he was kind enough to run down the huge list of changes for the service, set to take place this fall. Instead of being a virtual place to hang out, this overhauled PlayStation Network is more like a world of games....

More Pokemon news comes out of the crazy ass Japanese showOha Suta.This time it’s a good look at the new video chat feature of upcoming gamePokemon Black & White.We just found out about this featureand now we’re already seeing iti n action. I got to get my perverted hands-on withOnechanbarafor the Wii and Xbox 360 last week and had a ton of fun mindlessly killing hordes of zombies over and over, all while staring at some fine pieces of digital videogame ass....

Music games have had their time in the limelight, sadly opting to fade away than burn out. It’s curious then that a big name publisher like Ubisoft would take the time to try their hand at this seemingly dead genre withRocksmith. Once you get your hands on the game though, you realize thatRocksmithis something fundamentally different thanRock BandorGuitar Hero.Rocksmithisn’t here to sell you a fantasy, this game is for those with a true passion or at least interest in real guitar....

How much “YAR!” can you handle?The Sims Medievalcame out back in March and as we might have seen with otherSimsgames, we have a new expansion ready to roll out inPirates and Nobles. As the title implies, it adds pirates and nobles to the mix of your kingdom where you are still the ruler and are able to influence the daily activities of all of your citizens. The storyline to this expansion also builds on the current questing- and story-based gameplay that was newer to theSimsfranchise with this title....

If you’re itching for information on the newPrince of Persiatitle, then thesecond“speed art” trailer might keep you satisfied until theUbidays event next week. J-C Guyot, creative lead for the new title, introduces Elika, the Prince’s new sidekick. He says that she will be helpful in every facet of the game — from combat to puzzle solving to narrative development. I have to say, I’m really impressed with Elika’s character design.Speaking of design, some new screenshots from the game have come to light, and I’ll be damned if I’m not really impressed with those, too....

It sounds like developer The Behemoth is finished putting together the long-awaited PlayStation Network version of the critically-acclaimedCastle Crashers. In a developer blog, it confirms that it’s currently in the submission process, so it’s only a matter of time before get a solid release date. The blog also mostly confirms that the game will cost $15. Or “somewhere right around there.” Maybe it’ll be $14.99, maybe it’ll be $15.01. Put $16 to the side, just in case....
