While things have been a bit on the quiet side since the gamefinally became official, it seems work on the Wii sequel toNiGHTSis coming along fairly nicely. Gamespothave had a preview of Sega’s sequel to the Saturn classic, and while it seems nothing was playable, early word sounds pretty positive. It sounds at the moment as if the new outing sticks fairly closely to the format of its prequel (not that there’s a thing wrong with that), but is upgraded and enhanced not only by Wii remote control, but also some rather interesting spins on the boss battle formula …...

Now this is what I’m talking about.Nano Assaultis an upcoming 3DS game from Majesco of all places (Edit:Shin’en is developing, sorry!), and it looks bloody sexy. It’s a shooter in which you control a microscopic ship, shooting bits of virus in (I presume) somebody’s body. LikeInner Space, but hopefully better. Of course, graphics are only part of the battle, so we’ll have to see how the thing plays. I’m desperate foranythingon the 3DS right now, so I’ll take it!...
TheNaughty BearDLCwe teased the other dayis finally here. It’s Chapter 9, and it puts Naughty on the Island of Perfection, giving him ample things to swashbuckle with. It’s full-on pirate time, but it’s the good kind, without the stumbly douchebags with too much eyeliner on. In this new DLC Naughty will work his way through bad pirate bears all the way up to fighting the pirate bear leader, The Great Bear Beard....
The new Legendary Map Pack forHalo 3isnow out. It will cost you 800 ($10) MS Points and will contain three new maps called Avalanche, Ghost Town and Blackout. For those of younot feeling the DS trailer forInsecticide, Gamecock’s upcoming adventure/platformer, this new PC trailer may give you a bit more incentive to check out the title. The noir-inspired title hits stores January 8th and will allow you to play Detective Chrys Liszt as she and her partner Roachy Caruthers scour the deepest corners of the city for ugly crime. More than a few gamers have noticed the title has a slight resemblance to cult favoritePsychonauts....

Dubbed a “comedy/adventure game,”Rat Racewill be available as episodic content on PlayStation Network starting this winter. Set in the offices of the dysfunctional BiggCo, the game is being written and voiced by top Hollywood talent, and New York City-based stand-up comics who we’re to assume are funny....
