Evony ads bring new meaning to the term ‘booby trap’

Prominently featuring a sultry scrubber in erotic lingerie, with tantalizing text that says, “Best free web game, play now secretly,” you’d be forgiven for thinking thatEvonywas a saucy and steamy erotic romp for your browser. You couldn’t be further from the truth, however, because these ads are the most ridiculous lies to have hit the Internet all week. Niero has been making me play the free, browser-based RTSEvonythis week, for some reason....

I picked upBomberman Act Zerobecause it was $6 and I wanted to prove to myself that it wasn’t worth that much. I was not disappointed. I also grabbedPersona 4and have just started out. I think this is going to be the game that determines whether or not I buy another J-RPG ever. If I can’t finish this one, after all of the positive things I’ve heard, I think I’m just going to give up on the genre altogether....

GC 10: Blood Stone has a license to kill

The second helping of Bond from Activision at gamescom nearly caused me to shatter my teeth. During a tense hands-on with the game’s driving section, I had to put my pen in my mouth so I could hold the controller, a poor decision on my part as my jaw ended up hurting for the next three hours. The moral of the story is… good grief, this game was awesome! A bit on the nose as statements go, I know, but frankly, a really good game based on the license has been some time coming....
