So, in addition to receiving theKillzone 3: Helghast Edition, Destructoid was also sent several bags ofKillzone 3plastic army men. Each bag contains ten Helghast soldiers and one ISA scumbag, with the bag package reading, “Get used to these odds.” We’ve got two bags to give away today! Wish glory to the soldiers of Helghan or death to the Vektan invaders, whatever floats your boat....

So here we have some assets from Electronic Arts upcomingG.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra, based on the upcoming film of the same name. (Which is based on a beloved childhood cartoon of mine, but that’s another story.) You see that image up there? The file name was “bat_attacks_snake_eyes.jpg,” and maybe it’s me, but I don’t see any God damned bat. Anywhere. I was excited, most definitely, when the idea of Snake-Eyes battling a bat was presented to me....

Speaking with Erin Daly, a designer on the multiplayer portion of Homefront, the PS3 owners will get access to the map… they’ll just have to be patient.] Today at its New York City showcase, THQ has announced that Xbox 360 will be the first to get downloadable content for its upcoming first-person shooter,Homefront. The only details revealed so far are that it will be aan exclusivemap called “Suburb” for the game’s multiplayer mode, coming to Xbox 360 before it hits the PlayStation 3....

When we first saw screenshots of the upcoming101-in-1 Explosive Megamixfor Nintendo DS, we thought it looked like aparty in your pants. And we felt that this game of minigames was apretty good value at $20, or less than $.20 a minigame. Today, though, the game reveals a new side of itself in these new screenshots. I don’t know if this was intentional or not, but many of the screenshots look scary....

Because it’s so damn easy, I’ll do it: The Games for Windows version of “Broken Steel” is no longerbroken. That’s right, PC heads — it is now safe to download and experience the thrill of playing Bethesda’sfourththird (and possibly final) expansion pack forFallout 3. If you happened to get wrapped up into Bethesda’s latest DLC-related woes, your purchase should be playable as well. If you’re out of the loop, here’s the deal: as soon as the expansion hit servers, faithful fans who purchased the DLC weresmacked with an error messagethat prohibited play....

Two games are prepped and ready for action on Xbox LIVE Arcade this week, the first beingAces of the Galaxy(800 Microsoft Points), an on-rails shooter. The second is a puzzle game namedRoogoo, which will also be priced at 800 Microsoft Points. Aces of the Galaxypromises to be an “old-school arcade thrill-ride.” With local and online co-op, crisp visuals, and the ability to go into slow-mo mode during firefights, it just might live up to its own hype....

Hip-hop isn’t exactly a genre known for clean language and family-friendly images. While Konami, Def Jam, 4MM Games and Terminal Reality are using radio edits for all of the songs and music videos in their upcoming rap/hip-hop game,Def Jam Rapstar, the truth is that many songs are more explicit than we realize. 4MM, who is doing most of the development, is a little more accepting of this graphic language, choosing to print the leading letter followed by a dash for most foul words....

Earlier this month, a Remedy Entertainment representative teased that the studio would be makingsome sort of official commentabout the PC version ofAlan Wake. We have suspicions that the PC version is no more and we’re sorta right about that. In a new statement given to several Web sites not named Destructoid, Remedy said “PC plans are currently open” and they “would love to see a PC version available,” but it’s up to Microsoft to decide the game’s platform destiny....

In honor ofE3, Amazon’sGold Box discountstoday are all about videogames and videogame-related things. EA DICE’s terrific first-person shooter,Battlefield: Bad Company 2, is on sale for $39.98 (PS3 and 360 versions only) all day — this is a great time to pick up the game, since the“Onslaught” co-op DLCwill launchnext Tuesdayon Xbox Live and the PlayStation Network for $9.99. The next deal — which is going up in 20 minutes, at 5 PM EDT — sounds like it will offerGrand Theft Auto IV: Episodes From Liberty Cityon the cheap (“Complete yourGrand Theft Auto IVexperience,” the description reads)....

This is a teaser video for the upcoming MMORockman Online. Confirmed only for Korea at this point, it’s a 2D side-scroller with RPG elements. The video seems to show the first rise of Dr. Wily as a villain with the original Robot Masters. But then we’ve got a bunch of Protoman and Bass, plus Iris and Alia —Xseries characters. I just don’t know what’s going on. And it’ll probably never apply to me anyway....
