Two things that I absolutely love: Hulu andtormenting people with terrible cartoons based on videogames. Now, these two things havecome togetherin an awesome orgy of pleasure and pain as Hulu has made available theentire first seasonofThe Legend of Zeldacartoon series. The show is wretched, even when viewed through the loving gaze only time and nostalgia can provide. There’s almost zero redeeming value in watching the episodes. Most of their rock-opera songs are original jams, but there are a few references to music from theMega Mangames. Developer ZEN Studios has announced that its PlayStation Network title,The Punisher: No Mercy, will be available on July 2 for $9.99. Powered by Unreal Engine 3,No Mercy‘s first-person action is focused on an online multiplayer affair, supporting up to eight players in solo and team-based modes. The game will also have a single-players story mode, which we can only hope will involve a piranha tank kill (like in Volition’s last-gen title,The Punisher), and not simply be the multiplayer mode with seven bots and some cut-scenes....

Deadly Creaturesis one of the fewWii-exclusive games I’m looking forward to in 2009, so I’m always excited to see new information on it. This developer diary from the crew at Rainbow Studios gives us details on the game’s combat, which looks frickin’ sweet.In case you didn’t know, the game features two playable “characters” — a tarantula and a scorpion — and each has its own unique style of play. Yesterday we told youthat Ubisoft would be making an Altair (fromAssassin’s Creed) skin available for the upcoming Prince of Persia title via downloadable content.
