WhileScott Pilgrim vs. the Worldwill undoubtedly be the most popular game amongst Ubisoft’s San Diego Comic Con line-up, there’s going to be some other good stuff present at the show too. Space #4245 on the convention floor is where it’s all going down.Just Dance 2and the multiplayer component ofAssassin’s Creed Brotherhoodwill also be playable, with Ubisoft promising giveaways and “special guest appearances.” I can only imagine how great a sight costumed attendees playingJust Dancewill be....

Next Summer, theGreen Lanternfilm hits theaters. So you know what that means…Green Lanterngame time! Warner Bros. Interactive has announced that it will be releasing a game tie-in calledGreen Lantern: Rise of the Manhuntersnext year. Not much is known about the title other than that it will inspired by the film, which stars Ryan Reynolds as new Green Lantern Corps member Hal Jordan. The game will have players taking the role of Hal as he travels the universe, kicking thing’s asses using the power of theGreen Lanternring....

I have to say, when Ifirst caught windofSpider-Man: Web of ShadowsI was unexpectedly surprised by how interesting the game’s combat looked. Not content with simply throwing a few punch-punch-punch-ranged web attack combos, the Spider-Man in this game was shown moving from ground, to building, to aerial combat with extreme fluidity and grace. In short, it looked really awesome and made me want to try the game out right then and there....

I’ve been working on a import review ofMinna no Rhythm Tengoku(known asRhythm Heaven Wiiin the U.S.) for almost a month now. Problem is, I just don’t have the skills to unlock everything in the game. Though it has incredibly simple controls, this rhythm action/comedy title can get really,reallyhard, especially if you’re trying to score a perfect on one of the later levels. In order to unlock the special, endless remix seen above (which includes all the other endless levels mixed together with three all new mini-games), you’ll have to get a perfect on all 50 of the game’s main games....

While the music from theSeiken Densetsuseries has always been highly-regarded (with Hiroki Kikuta’sSecret of Manasoundtrack being a fan-favorite), Square Enix hasn’t given the series much attention when it’s come to paying homage to the franchise’s musical legacy. That all seems to be changing for the series’s 20th anniversary as seen first by the enormous20-disc soundtrack boxthat was recently announced for the end of September as well as a couple of new album releases that have been trickling out since....

Looks likeSuper Street Fighter IV: Arcade Editionis official as downloadable content for the PlayStation 3 and the Xbox 360. From the looks of this leaked trailer (which has since been pulled), the game’s storyline will center around Evil Ryu, and a new character calledOni. Evil Ryu also has long hair sometimes, which is awesome. The video also details some of the other features that will go intoSSFIV:AEon home consoles. Yun and Yang (last seen inStreet Fighter III: 3rd Strike), new outfits, a new replay system, a new “Elite” replay video viewing system, and some other cool stuff are all part of the package....

Lasers and explosions, wicked weird spacecrafts and the final frontier — MMOStar Trek Onlineis to have all of these things. Not that we didn’t expect anSTlicensed MMO to possess such elements. Square Enix has now released the video to the public, so make sure you check out the hotness. It’s very hot indeed. JRPG nerds will be very happy with what they see in this seven-minute extravaganza. Japanese music, lots of swords, and ridiculous summons that transform into fire cars....

I think we can all agree that we’re pretty pumped for whatever the hellProject Dark(a working title) is going to be. And if the trailer above is any indication then it’s going to look lot likeDemon’s Souls. If you’re upset about this, then you’re in the minority. Of course we knownext to nothingabout the gameplay, but you may see some epic bosses already in the trailer above and some third-person action....

Recently, I was given the esteemed privilege of spending a full day playing the latest in a long and legendary line of a beloved Nintendo franchise.
