It wasn’t long ago that Capcom released theirResident Evil 4port for the Wii, leaving PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 owners saying “Where’s ours?” Now, the tables have turned, withResident Evil 5— currently an exclusive for the PS3, 360, and soon PC — shipping next week. But according to Capcom’s Matt Dahlgren, the publisher may have plans to spread to love sooner rather than later. “[Resident Evil 5] was made for Xbox 360 and PS3,” he told Joystiq, “That being said, Nintendo Wii fans will be happy very soon....

We caught ourfirst glimpseofMight and Magic Heroes VIat this year’s gamescom, but further details since then have been fairly sparse. Fortunately, I was able to sit down with producer Erwan LeBreton at Ubisoft’s Digital Day and get a closer look at the game. Although theMight & Magicfranchise has grown to encompass multiple different genres over the years, theHeroesseries is best known for its unique blend of turn-based strategy and RPG elements....

Sony brought along some of the upcoming PlayStation Network games to CES this year, andRag Doll Kung Fu: Fists of Plasticis one of the coolest ones we’ve played. A couple of weeks ago I got a call from GameTrailers asking if I would like to represent Destructoid on the site’s new television show,GameTrailers TV. Developer Cryptic Studios is now taking closed beta applications forStar Trek Online. According toan official blog post, the developer is looking for some warm bodies to do typical closed beta things — testing servers, “squashing” bugs, etc. To be considering for this thrilling work, all a hopeful has to do is visit the official Web site and submitan applicationto the studio. The selections are random, though. No word on when the beta will begin or how it will be rolled out, but Cryptic has announced that it will announce a closed beta announcement date at “a later date....

Things I like a lot in any game: RPGs, anything set in Japan, fighting demons, unique storylines and great music. As you may imagine, all these apply for the upcoming Atlus DS titleShin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor, and I’m a little bit hyped about its release.
