It makes me happy that PixelJunk has been such a big part of Sony’s big pre-E3 push. As far as my favorite games go, my top list is filled with snooty old games, classic RPGs, and some rhythm game nonsense. But Dig Dug also makes the list. I don’t know what it is about this 1980’s classic, but I’ve always loved it. Aside fromZuma,Dig Dugis probably the most played game on my Xbox 360…and that’swiththe dog sh*t directional pad! Now I can just use my finger to play inDig Dug REMIX, just released for the iPhone and iPod Touch....

Let’s see now…there have been ten main games, one side story, and five handheld titles in the classicMega Manseries. Dr. Wily builds one or two fortresses for each outing, and they always crumble to the ground in the end. Where the hell does this man get the funds to build these money pits? Is there a bank that keeps accepting his loan applications? The dude’s credit must suck so bad!...

El Shaddai Ascension of the Metatronhasn’t been out very long, but it already has another version coming. Right now the Android version of the game is only set for a Japan release, and will be a strictly 2D game. No price or release date has been announced for the Android version ofEl Shaddai. The best thing I could say aboutEl Shaddaiis that it was incredibly pretty, but one of my biggest complaints with the game was that the 3D gameplay felt under-developed, so hopefully a 2D only version of the game will be better....

What better way to promote a game than to feature porn stars! The ad then goes on to tell us nothing useful about the game at all.I mean, cool, boobs! That’s just not going to be enough to get the average consumer to pick this game up....

I spent a long time this week of thinking how exactly I wanted to coverHeavy Rain.
