End of Eternity revealed as tri-Ace/Sega collaboration

I’m sick and tired of teaser sites, so it gives me unsettling amounts of pleasure to see a teaser site’s surprise get spoiled, as has happened once again withEnd of Eternity.Famitsumagazine hasspilled the beans, revealing an online countdown to be leading to this new RPG. The most interesting thing aboutEnd of Eternityis that it marks the first time tri-Ace has worked with a publisher other than Square Enix, as the dubious RPG studio will instead be working with Sega this time around....

Square’s newFabula Nova Crystallisproject has been getting a fair bit of attention lately. The trailers ofFFXIIIandVersusfrom E3 wowed everyone. Final Promise Story gets some screenshots

Before the holidays, Imageepoochrevealed the first fruitsof its publishing endeavor, withFinal Promise Storychief among them. This original PSP RPG is one of several games that the company hopes to use in order to revitalize the ailing Japanese roleplaying genre. We don’t yet know ifFinal Promise Storyhas what it takes to do it, but one thing is certain — it sure as hell looks like a JRPG. Big eyes, floppy hair, and impractical swords pretty much give this game all the visual qualifications....

In his most recent papercraft series, he offers up his childhood memories in foldable form, as evidenced above. Check outhis siteto download the free templates for these — they’re easy to make, unlikesome of the papercraft creations out there, and they can bring a little bit of cheer to your desk, especially if you were a child of the ’80s like me....

Game SERIES Debate to the Death: Mario Kart VS Gran Turismo

We might have to make a pact to never tell anyone about that night, ever. Not even that hot girl you want to confide in to get into her pants. What we did waswrong: It was so bad that several of the votes forGuitar Herowere from first time posters ....

Gears of War 2 locust bust isn’t your typical objet d’art

Artistic display pieces used to be so pretty and refined, once. Now, you can have a 1:1 scalebust of a Locust Dronein your living room, looking like a baby on a burns ward. Art doesn’t always have to be beautiful, I suppose. Ugly this boy may be, but that’s obviously the intent and one can’t argue with Project Triforce’s faithful rendering of your most common foe on theGears of Warbattlefield. Just in time for the release ofGears of War 2, Triforce has revealed this new ornament, which is due to ship in the first quarter of 2009....
