SiliconValley.com hasan articleup detailing the prices of the ultra-rare PlayStation 3 console on Yahoo Japan’s auction section, and the results are not what you would expect. With PlayStation 3s hitting $2000USD and higher on this side of the pond, people (and especially eBay) stands to make a killing off of the scarcity of the system, but in Japan, the prices are far lower, with systems (even those with games) averaging around $500USD....

Hot off the 25th anniversary Capcom DVD that came with the latestFamitsu, the above video features plenty of Moonspeak and just a littleResident Evil 5gameplay. Really not a huge deal to write home about but if you’re anything like me, you’ll take what sordid scraps you can get your grubby little hands on.I think the most interesting thing is the appearance of non-monsterfied NPCs. I’m imagining a fully realized village, slowly overtaken by whatever sickness decides to introduce itself....

It’s time for Animus Project Update 2.0, the new free DLC update forAssassin’s Creed: Brotherhood. A patch yesterday broke the game a tiny bit, but all is well now. This new update adds a new map,Pienza, a Tuscan village that was once rebuilt as the ideal Renaissance town. It appears to have a lot of roofs to escape to, so don’t forget to config your pistol and chase speed profiles....

I’m as amped up forMass Effectas the next guy, but quite honestly, I could do without a collector’s edition of the game (and every other game expected to sell more than four copies). That is, of course, unless it contains a sweet Krogan limited edition statue. Unfortunately, that’s just not the case at all.
