I have not heard of Square Enix’s downloadable sidescrollerMoon Diverbefore today, but it sounds like it has quite a bit of potential to it. It was announced before E3 of 2010, but very little has been seen of it until today. The game takes place in the year 2081, where inanimate objects have been brought to life by evil forces to wage war on humanity. Cars, cups and even bridges will take on the player, who is part of an elite ninja team called The Moondivers....

In January, weintroduced you toTeam6 Game Studios’sGlacier2— an arcade racing title for the Wii. Since then, the game has received a new name. Gone are the days of ramming numbers next to letters. The game’s new name isGlacier 2: Hell on Ice. It’s tacky, but loads better than what we previously had to write. Like theHalo: Reconswitch, it doesn’t appear that the game’s innards have changed. It’s still aBurnout-ish title, with a setting confined to frigid “mountains of death” (or the Alps, if you want to be politically correct)....

GoldenEye 64will go down as one of my all time favorite games for the Nintendo 64. Sure, the game doesn’t stand up to the test of time at all (like most Nintendo 64 and PlayStation games), but it’s still kind of playable. Almost. Anyway, Activision’s little revival of the game for the Wii is looking just awesome. I still don’t know how I feel about Daniel Craig replacing Pierce Brosnan as Bond though....

Over the weekend, webrought wordthat theBurnout ParadiseBike update would be dropping this Thursday. The update will be bringing with it four motorcycles, a 24 hour day/night cycle, dynamic weather system and a ton more stuff — all for free! EA and Criterion just passed along this brand new trailer forBurnout Paradiseshowing the bikes in action and details everything that will be coming in this free DLC pack. I got to play with thenew bikes last monthand had an absolute blast with the them....

No Virtual Console games this week, but Nintendo isn’t skimping on the classics. Studio Pixel’s classic indie adventureCave Storysees its triumphant return as a remake for WiiWare, and three Game & Watch titles pop up on DSiWare. WiiWare DSiWare This week’s download is a no-brainer — you simplymustgetCave Story. Last night, I fired upthe freeware versionto prepare myself for today’s release, and can’t wait to play the update this week. As for theGame & Watchgames, it’s tempting, but with my DSi XL on the way (and no way to transfer DSiWare games from one DSi to another), I think I’ll hold off....

Nintendo said mid-2009 and it’s keeping its promise — the Nintendo DSi will launch in North America on June 07, 2025 for an MSRP of $169.99. Initially it will be available in blue and black. This new version of Nintendo’s popular handheld features two cameras — one on the front, and one that points at the user. The system will also support Nintendo DSiWare applications (think WiiWare for portables), which users can download to an SD Card....

As youall know by now,Super Smash Bros. Brawlhas been delayed yet again by about a month in Japan and the USA. As far as the European release goes, we’ve never been given a street date but it seemed quite likely we wouldn’t be seeing hide nor hair of the bloody thing until Summer. Now that there are delays in the countries that Nintendo cares about, we in Europe wonder if we will be affected at all....

Sony has announced that theApe EscapePlayStation Move title is finally hitting PlayStation Network this summer. It’s called — wait for it —PlayStation Move Ape Escape. Clever names aside, here’s what to expect: 15 levels of monkey capturing action, using the PlayStation Move controller as a net and other ape-snatching devices. With over 500 monkeys to find and “wacky mini-games” like Tag Rally, Slingsnipe! and Sprayzer Defense Force, there’s plenty of content to quell your simian apprehension desires....

He was a “man” who had been banned from the PlayStation Network after being an abusive little troll onResistance‘s multiplayer mode, and decided to take Sony to court over the “pain and suffering” it had caused him. If you recall that adventure, you’ll be thrilled to know that the little turd has had his casethrown out of of court. Northern District of California District Judge Ronald M Whyte decided that Estavillo, despite claiming that the ban had emotionally crippled him, was not deserving of relief from Sony under the First Amendment....

Ladies and Retromen, once again I find myself confronted with the prospect of another Monday, a day that signifies the beginning of the long work week that a good portion of us must endure.
