That’s far from a bad comparison to make, asBraidleft a lasting impression on many a gamer who played it, butClover‘s introspective music and lovingly hand-drawn look immediately remind you of a breed of game that has the courage to be very different. Coming out for Xbox Live this May fromBinary Tweed, Colver is described as a “political platform puzzler”, which definitely piques my curiousity....

 More news fromMegagames about that wii thing… :P Looks like there has beenofficial confirmationthat the price of the Wii will not exceed $250 American. The only news here is that it’s official, as many analysts have already said it would be around $250. This would be the nail in the coffin for Sony in my opinion. I’ll be waiting for a PS3. It also looks like they expect to sell 6 million Wiis by the end of their fiscal year and 17 million games....

The paper has now apologized for the article. Not only that, but the paper will also be paying a “substantial amount” of money to charity on behalf of Rockstar for the damage caused....

PlayingDr. Awesome, Microsurgeon M.D.will not evoke a wide range of emotion or any immense sense of satisfaction upon completion. In many ways, it is the classic mobile title. It is short, sweet and based around a few simple gameplay mechanics. The trick for mobile developers is to figure out a way to package their game and its occasionally undemanding components. In the case ofDr. Awesome, Escalation Studios managed to inoffensively build a decent presentation around good, but occasionally frustrating gameplay...

It’s mahjongg. I’m not going to tell you that this is some groundbreaking videogame. But I will say that I played the hell out of this title. It seemed to fill some gap in my PSPgo library that I didn’t know needed filling. Some days I played this title until my eyes became crossed. This isMahjongg Artifacts 2, a PSP minis title. The latest iteration of Korean-developed rythm gameDJMAX, which found some stateside popularity with itsPSP Ports, is now being tested at two locations in the Los Angeles area. This beta version ofDJMAX Technikacan be played at UCLA’s Ackerman Union arcade, Coinz, or at Game Play in Long Beach. The game still features its trademark synth-tek soundtrack and beautifully animated Korean art background videos, but gone is the furious, rapid-fire button assault we’ve grown used to....
