I’m not known to act excited about my Nintendo DS — it feels like I haven’t bought a game for it in years — but it appears as if EA’s exclusive title will have me from day one. The game is a creative and refined blend of two unrelated genres. The top screen handles the game’s hack ‘n slash gameplay, while the bottom is devoted to the game’s puzzle elements....

According to the June issue ofOfficial Xbox Magazine, Hulu Plus will be coming to Xbox Live on April 29. Yes, that’s this Friday! The launch of the service will apparently be supported with contests from launch day throughout the month of May. It seems that random Hulu Plus users may win trips to beach resorts or even get a free Xbox 360 bundle. Neat! I canned my cable subscription awhile back, and have been enjoying Hulu Plus on my PlayStation 3 for awhile now....

Hunt The Thingis built using CryEngine 2 and allows you to play as a scientist or a soldier. Yes, there’s even blood samples. In order to try this out, you’ll need to download NEVERDIE’s ROCKtropia Virtual World, which acts as a hub....

Sony’sGreat Scene Sharing campaignwill ultimately bring 40 lucky fans of Team ICO’s games to a special event planned for September 3 in Tokyo. Fans are being asked to share their favorite scenes fromICOandShadow of the Colossuson various social network sites in Japan. Participants will get a special wallpaper and will also be entered into a raffle for tickets to the event. At this event the fans will join game press members in celebrating the release of the HD remasters of bothICOandShadow of the Colossus....

According to Square Enix London Studios Community Manager Mike Oldman, we’ll all have a chance to play theJust Cause 2demo on March 4. As part of today’s Capcom announcement explosion, it has been revealed thatLost Planet 2will be collaborating with Microsoft to incorporate characters fromGears of War. The strange meeting of minds will see Marcus and Dom from the brawny shooter series appear as playable beefcakes in Capcom’s alien-exploding sequel. Isn’t that nice? As you know, a release date hasalso been revealed, withLost Planet 2scheduled to hit worldwide consoles on May 18. He directed Platinum Games’ Wii gameMadWorldunder Platinum creator Shinji Mikami, who is also known as the creator ofResident Evil.Now Mikami has moved on to create a new studio named Tango, and it seems that Nishikawa will follow. You might have seen Nishikawa’s work in some of Capcom’sDino Crisisgames, as well as the GameCube remakes ofResident EvilandResident Evil 4.
