Sonic Adventure, Crazy Taxi outed for Xbox Live Arcade

We’ve been hearing rumors about digital Dreamcast gamessince forever, but some brand new evidence appears to categorically suggest that bothCrazy TaxiandSonic Adventureare en route to Xbox Live Arcade. This is amidst further “confirmations” ofDoom II,Metal Slux XXandQuake Arena. A member of the Digiex Forums posted a batch of screenshorts purported to be nabbed from a dev kit 360. Just for good measure, he revealedSonic 4‘s Super Sonic as well. The screens themselves all look rather genuine, and since the rumors aboutSonic Adventureon XBLA have been consistently coming in for several months, it’s not hard to believe at all....

Sony registers Motorstorm 3 site

Nothing can bekept secret anymore. The internet has too many Matlocks doing their Matlock thing out there. For instance if Sony wanted to announceMotorstorm 3at an upcoming gaming event and surprise everyone then they probably shouldn’t have gone forward with registering www.motorstorm3.com ahead of time. The folks over atThe Gaming Libertymust have been typing in every gaming related URL they could think of when they noticed that motorstorm3.com took them to the Sony site instead of just loading a fail page....

Splinter Cell Conviction trailer: Victor interrogated

Victor is there to give Sam what he needs. Whatever he wants. Well, he did. Now, judging by this trailer, Victor Coste is being interrogated by some group that I’m guessing does not have long to live. “He’s off the leash and going after answers,” Vic says. And I bet where he’s going next. “And right now, I’m glad I’m not you.” This trailer shows little in the way of game play forSplinter Cell Conviction, but it does a great job at setting the tone for the upcoming game....

Still more X-Blades screens, Jim Sterling on suicide watch

As you may recall, the steady onslaught of screenshots from Southpeak Interactive promoting their upcoming fantasy action title,X-Blades, drove Destructoid Reviews Editor, Jim Sterling, to seekthe comfort of the bottle. An unsympathetic Southpeak has yet to yield in their quest to kill the man, releasing four more images from the game today. When asked to comment, Sterling had the following to say: “There is an idea of a Jim Sterling, some kind of abstraction, but there is no real me, only an entity, something illusory, and though I can hide my cold gaze and you may shake my hand and feel flesh gripping yours and maybe you can even sense our lifestyles are probably comparable: I simply am not there....

Synchronized global releases for Last Remnant and Final Fantasy XIII?

Teammates for life: Destructoid presents the Halo Wedding

You might have heard of that little game calledHalo(or as some of us fondly call it around here, “teh Haloz”), but you know that you have to really be passionate about a game to theme your entire wedding on it. Desirai Labrada and John Henry did just that, which you can check out above in our Halo Wedding vid (made by the rather excellentR3Y).I can’t help but wonder how confusing it must be for some moms and dads to attend their children’s game-themed weddings — my mom would be cool with it, for example, but it certainly summons up images of histronic parental units unable to understand what it’s all about....

TGS 2007: The Diverting History of Mechanical Fellows

Kentia Hall is the infamous vault one can find behind and between the normal passageways at E3. From descriptions by various E3 attendees over the years, I have gathered that Kentia is mostly regarded as a sad little den of all the rejected, low-budget, low-class, low-brow, high-hopes, little games-that-could. When I arrived inTokyo yesterday, Eckhardt was babbling even before the stewardess that was carrying me piggyback lowered me to the linoleum in front of Customs....
