I got to seean early look at upcoming PSP role-playing gameHexyz Forceearly last month, but now it looks like it’s ready for a primetime debut with both new screenshots and a full trailer coming from Atlus today. You might have heard that this is a 2-in-1 RPG, as it has two stories following two different characters. Their paths intertwine, as you’d expect. Atlus is calling this the gamer’s game, and it certainly looks that way to me....

Here’s a spooky little trailer for Marvelous’ horror game,Night of the Sacrifice. It uses the Wii’s Balance Board which will likely shrink its potential audience even further than it would’ve done, but it is very weird and creepy. That’s worth something. If the Balance Board turns out to be optional, I’m all about this. I won’t, however, buy something just for one game. Especially something my fatness has to stand on....

Could there someday be OnLive cloud-based gaming on your Xbox 360 or PS3? It’s too early to say, but OnLive’s Joe Bentley, Engineering VP, says that “it would absolutely work,” and that they’re “ready to work with everybody.” “Absolutely, they would make great consoles,” Bentley toldCVG. “Our controller is a hybrid between a PS3 controller and an Xbox controller. It’s all compatible, it would just work. There are OnLive guys chatting [Sony and MS], but we’ll see where it goes....

On this week’s episode ofOrigin Dickery, it has been revealed that Electronic Arts will not be releasingBattlefield 3via Steam to give its proprietary service another boost. This is according to a release list that EA has tried to pull from the Internet. Interestingly, it will be coming to multiple digital retailers, with a listing spotted for GamersGate and Direct2Drive. This has become one in a growing line of moves by EA to somehow compete with Steam using just its own comparatively tiny selection of published games....

Deus Ex: Human Revolutionis one of my most anticipated games of the year. This video helps to show why. Sony sends details on and a picture of (above) the upcoming PS3 PlayStation Store remodel. They tell us to expect a mid-April launch of their new online storefront, which will sport a “more dynamic look and improved navigation.” This revamp is supposed to enable quicker and easier access to demos, games, videos, and trailers. Due to some behind-the-scenes tinkering, no additional content will be posted on the store starting April 3rd....
