Sony was kind enough to invite us to a small roundtable discussion with Sony Computer Entertainment of America President and CEO, Jack Tretton. The guy, apparently, is pretty important. Waaaaayback in 2007you may recall that Nintendo released a system update that added keyboard support. I’m kind of surprised that it’s taken so long, but we’re finally seeing a peripheral set to cash in on the crowd of Wii owners that really like using the Internet Channel. Thisnew wireless keyboardis being manufactured by Logitech and is officially licensed by Nintendo. It’ll have some buttons that are designed specifically for the Internet Channel, such as keys for Zooming In and Out, going Forward and Back, Quiting, and selecting OK....
I had some time to stop by Nintendo’s booth during E3 yesterday and get up to the Wii U special area of awesome hands-on fun times.Battle Miiwas the first game I tried out and my first reaction to the Wii U controller was that the gyroscopic controls are deadly accurate. So much more impressive than the 3DS gyro-controls, in fact. InBattle Mii,I was playing on the Wii U controller as a Mii piloting a miniature version of Samus Aran’s spaceship....
Natsume has sent along their E3 floor line-up this morning. For those counting, that’s three 3DS games. Natsume isn’t shy — 3D for everybody! I’m a sucker for the sappy Final Fantasy theme songs. I’ve been hooked sinceFinal Fantasy VIII’s “Eyes On Me.” If you’re not allergic to female pop ballads with expensive string arrangements,Final Fantasy XIII-2theme song“New World” by Charice makes for an enjoyable listen. The music alone conjures images of pink-purple soft focus cutscenes, wispy hair and longing glances — nice fit. My dream in life? Dead serious about this, now. Don’t laugh....
Turn 10 Studios, the makers of the fine Forza series of racing games, and America Le Mans Series have forged a partnership that will bring some exciting things to both the real and virtual racing world.Forza 4is now the official racing game partner of the Le Mans series, they announced today. As you’d imagine from such a partnership, in-game cars and tracks from Le Mans are coming toForza 4. Expect to see tracks like Sebring, Road Atlanta, Road America, Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca, in the game, as well as 26 ALMS cars....
Here’s a cool little puzzle game for you to try out, with some snazzy music and cool visuals. It’s calledGravity Welland it bills itself as a mix between Pinball and Mini Golf. The aim of the game is to use gravity to get a ball to its goal. Simply touching the screen at any point will draw the ball towards your finger, and you earn points depending on how many touches you needed and how quickly you completed the stage....

Activision’s Nintendo DS and Wii title,Space Camp, is hitting retail in June. Much to my dismay, I’ve learned thatSpace Campis not the videogame spiritual successor toSpace Jam. It does not have Michael Jordan, Marvin the Martian, Bill Murray, or the sport basketball. But it does have an astronaut of sorts — and I’m about two percent sure the Grammy Award winning film had that. So, okay,Space Campis about some crazy dude who wants to be an astronaut....
