A brand new 2D Worms game is coming!

What? YES! According to Team 17’s Martyn Brown, a brand newWormsgame is coming to Steam, and the best part is that it’ll be arealone, not one of those 3D abominations that I hate because I’m scared of new things. The murderous Oligochaeta are returning in a new game calledWorms Reloaded. We have no further details than this, but more details are promised soon. By the sounds of the title, I’d venture a guess at this being a full series reboot, with a back-to-basics approach....

Bodycountcreative director Stuart Black is a self-professed “big fan” of co-op, and he badly wanted to have the game’s entire campaign playable cooperatively. But the story had other ideas: It became really obvious — and it pained me — that there were key moments, two or three key moments, where it was absolutelyvitalthat you were by yourself to feel that sense of isolation. […] And I was really like, ‘Oh no, I can’t believe this!...

Call of Duty (Wii) – New video

So basically this is looking likeCall of Duty1.8 but I don’t have any problems with it, cause I can imagine that it could be a lot of fun with the Wiimote. Video quality is crap, the player is obviously a noob and there is no ingame sound but at least you’re able to hear the peaceful ring collection sound of Sonic.[ViaJeuxfrance]
