The classic real-time-strategy seriesCommand & Conqueris apparently coming to a “new medium” next year, according to the hypemongers at Electronic Arts. An image of what looks like London has been given a black-and-white comic book look to promote this mysterious new direction for the series. AsCommand & Conquer 4settles in for a March 16 release date, EA has told fans on theofficial sitethat “Early 2010 will also bring you a new medium never created for theC&Cfranchise before, until now....

Winning the prize for “best bit of dialog I’ve heard all weekend” isConan the Barbarian. You’ll know exactly what I’m talking about when you watch the above video. Aside from hilariously bad cutscenes, it looks likeConanis going to be a smash hit for fans of the old ultra-violence. Crysis 2is out in stores today, and Crytek couldn’t let the occasion pass without the billionth trailer. This time it’s set to a mawkish cover of “New York, New York” by that guy who does those things. It’s actually somewhat effective.
