According to Croal, it was just a few moments in when he realized that there were some things about the trailer that had the potential to inflame members of the black community, however unintentional it might have been....

The seventh installment in a series of behind-the-scenes videos forAlpha Protocolis all about favorites. Obsidian’s favorite characters, gadgets, set pieces, etc. — who better to highlight sections of the game than the very people actively creating it? To be frank, I haven’t been keeping up with these videos prior to this one. PurchasingAlpha Protocolis more or less a guarantee at this point, so why bother? But, I will say that lucky number seven was a fun watch....

Apparently, the game in question is not an Xbox exclusive necessarily, and one of the comments on the original post by CVG, linked below, contains the correct answer....

PaRappa the Rapper creator Masaya Matsura has announced his next project, an iPhone and iPod touch title calledWINtA(or “War is Not The Answer”). The title is being developed with Triangle Studios pro bono for OneBigGame; the proceeds will go towards children’s charities. While details of the project haven’t officially been announced,Gamesindustry.biz caught a demoof the project at a recent games conference in the Netherlands. The demo showed off a game in which players tapped the screen along to music, in this case, the music of Marvin Gaye....

One of the bad things about PAX is that I’m not there (yes, I will be whining all weekend), but one of the good things about it is companies seem to lay back a bit while they are there. It’s not about business like it is at E3, it’s just about gaming. Ubisoft has plopped right down in the Lay-Z-Boy armchair that is PAX and gone and memed upSplinter Cell: Conviction....

Like a child who’s been served a bigger scoop of ice cream than his brother, Microsoft’s Peter Moore is acting (to use the rhyming slang of my cockney brethren) quite the “shmug blunt” lately. In an interview foundhere, Moore derides the PS3 while showing off shamelessly and withgusto. “I’ve walked a mile in those shoes. It’s been nearly three months since a new character has been announced forSuper Smash Bros. Brawl. After weeks and weeks of (mostly) boring filler, today’s DOJO update revealsCaptain OlimarfromPikmin as a playable character inBrawl. Not much is given away today except that the Pikmin will play a heavy role in Olimar’s fighting style. Five different Pikmin will stick with Olimar but only for a short time. You can restock up on more Pikmin by plucking them up from the ground....

Aliens: Colonial Marineswas announced roughly ten thousand years ago, and very little has been seen of the game save for a few scant details scoured from the pages of old magazines. Developer Gearbox has kept quiet about the game, and seems to be far too busy working on things likeDuke Nukem Forever. This has prompted CEO Randy Pitchford to admit the game was revealed a little too early. You think!?...
