Improvements and tweaks are being made toIron Man 2, according to SEGA. The upcoming game’s story will extend past the film’s vision and incorporate enemies outside of the story arc. Enemies like Crimson Dynamo, and uh, well … we’re not sure. What we do know is that comic book author Matt Fraction will be penning the game’s story, which should probably give the game a boost in the narrative department....
As exciting as thenews about 2K Bostonreverting its name back to Irrational Games was — I personally jumped out of my seat multiple times upon hearing about it — the studio now has something you’ll probably appreciate a bit more: a redesigned Web site. Analysts are still keen to draw up themythicalcasual/hardcore divide, and hasaccused the core gamer marketof being “saturated,” running a risk of stagnation if it doesn’t appeal more to the fictional Holy Grail that is the “casual market.” IDG research uses the success of the Wii and DS to reach its conclusion, revealing that without Nintendo’s figures, the international game market decreased by seven percent. “The middling performance of the 360, coupled with the PS3’s slow start has led IDG to the conclusion that the core gamer market is in fact saturated,” claims the report....

A jerkward idiot boy from Maryland has been arrested after stealing access to a stranger’s Xbox Live account and using it to issue Columbine-style death threats. Yep, that’s a quick way to get arrested for sure. Union County Prosecutor, Theodore J. Romankow revealed that the boy obtained access to the account via some shady deal on a “third party website.” Apparently the transaction involved a copy ofMadden, although no further details have been made known....
Kane & Lynch 2: Dog Dayslooks like a YouTube video. Shaky cameras, rough textures, and pixelated violence are all part of the package. Don’t adjust your TV set though, that’s on purpose. For IO Interactive, creating a gritty, believable story is about far more than high resolution textures. “The way we tell the story is from a POV perspective at all times, so you don’t get to like cross reference how the bad guys are thinking, you’re staying with those two guys the entire duration of the game,” explains producer Karsen Lund....
After months of speculation and years of hoping, the announcement ofMega Man Legends 3dropped like amegaton bomb on us tonight. Here is a video of Keiji Inafune talking about what he hopes to achieve with the game and the level of personal investment he has in it. I’m not kidding when I say that this is the game which has sold me on my need to own a 3DS. The technology has been intriguing and it seems rich with features but it always takes that one game that personally appeals to convince me that I will buy a piece of hardware....
With all the WiiWare games that have mysteriously disappeared or have been outright canceled over the past year or so, I figured that we might never seeLa-Mulanahit Nintendo’s struggling service. Looks like I was wrong about that, as the team at Nigoro has just announced thatthey’re resubmitting the game to Nintendo for approval “in a few days”. I really hope it goes through, as the game has been on my personal “most anticipated” list for a while....
