THQ dropped their latest trailer for next year’sUFC Undisputed 3. One of the big pushes — as evident by all the sweaty men beating the crap out of each other — is the myriad of advanced techniques added to the game. Sega sent over this trailer celebrating the launch of the new downloadable content forValkyria Chronicles II. The DLC contains an additional 22 missions to play through and is now available on the PSN store for $4.99. Valkyria Chroniclesis on my shelf, waiting to be played. I’ve watched other people play my copy but I have yet to spend more than twenty minutes with the title. They seemed to be having fun and the game’s reputation is certainly respectable....

It seems to me like if you’re the type of person who is invested enough in thePrince of Persiaseries to long forThe Forgotten Sands, you would likely ownWarrior Withinalready. If not, Steam wants to have a word with you real quick — pre-purchasing this latest title gets you 2004’s installment for free. Personally I dug the game, even though the seemingly random shift in tone was not entirely appreciated. The chase scenes — and the basic idea of an unstoppable entity in general — was cool to me....

While videogames are definitely more mainstream, with regular articles covering the industry in theNew York Timesand theWall Street Journal, there is still a stigma revolving around videogame culture. For every article that talked aboutHalobeing a billion-dollar franchise, there was someone on TV claiming that games are just for kids. If you look on TV and in movies, gamers are still furiously tapping the buttons on whatever system they’re playing, as though their heart rate depends on smashing that A button in until it breaks....

Until today, I thought it would be a significant challenge to make the Kratos costume seem obsolete inLittleBigPlanet. The latest content update forLBPwill feature six costumes in total. Five of them (packaged together) will be themed after my personal favorite PSP title,LocoRoco.
