Machinima held their first ever awards show last Friday at the Red Bull’s North American Headquarters in Santa Monica. Awards were given, games were played and Red Bull was had. So who won?Modern Warfare 2took home six awards for best multiplayer, best control, best replayability, best weapon, best original score and Game of the Year. Wow, what are you guys doing over there,Namco Bandai? Your second quarter financial results for gaming showed a nasty 92.4 percent drop, down from last year’s $45.5 million to $3.4 million this year. Ubisoft has released a new teaser and a bunch of screenshot and concept art for the upcomingAssassin’s Creed: Revelations. The video doesn’t really show you much, if anything. There seems to be a lot of cutscene material and not a lot of gameplay, although there is a promise of yet another trailer come June 6th. If pay attention you may see a white-clothed Assassin, as well as what appears to be one of Ezio’s hidden blades being chopped off....

Atari has released a new trailer forGhostbusters: Sanctum of Slime, the upcoming PC, PlayStation Network and Xbox Live Arcade release from developer Wanako. If you aren’t familiar, they’re the developers behindAssault Heroesand you can see some combat in the Ecto-3 up above along with a selection of pretty cool boss encounters. The subway train monster looks awesome in a low-budget creativity sort of way. I love dual-stick shooters and I loveGhostbusters....
