Nothing on [the scale of Comic Con], but you could bring a few hundred people just to see a Halo thing....

Could there be a Tekken 6 bundle with arcade stick?

If you’ll think back to whenTekken 5was released, there was a Ultimate Collectors Edition that came with the game, a case, and an arcade stick. And by looking at an early page at GameStop, it seems like something similar is in the works again for the nextTekkenrelease. Check out this pre-order pageforTekken 6. It says it comes with an arcade stick, and is priced at $149.99. That would have to be a pretty slick stick to make the total price that high....

It’ll be released in Japan asCross Edge Dashthis coming October, almost a year after the original game launched. Cross Edgecombines characters from NIS, Gust, Idea Factory Namco Bandai and Capcom to create one big roleplaying mash up and was released to moderate reviews (ours is still coming, promise!...

Deus Ex: Human Revolution dev geeks out over 0451

This might be a bit silly if you are not a giant fan ofDeus Exwho still thinks it’s the best game ever made, but I loved it. Eidos Montreal art director Jonathan “Pretty Face” Jacques-Belletêtetweetedtoday: “Btw, my flight number to Seattle is 0451.Deus Exfans will know what this means.” And we do! Dev: XBLA no longer king as developers abandon platform

Xbox Live Arcade was once the place to be for new digital titles hoping to get noticed. However, as Microsoft’s allegedlypoor treatmentandexclusivity requirementscontinue in the face of stiff competition,World of Goodeveloper 2D Boy believes the platform’s dominance is over. 2D Boy polled over 200 indie developers and discovered that people just aren’t as enamored with XBLA as they used to be. While only half of the studios responded, they were companies said to hold higher Metacritic scores and superior sales than average companies — in other words, some of the XBLA’s heaviest hitters provided their thoughts, and the results seem to show that devs are moving away from Microsoft and embracing rival platforms on PS3 and PC....

As of this morning, racing game fans cravingDiRT 2have two distinct options to pick from: play the off-road racer in September on either an Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Wii, DS, or PSP, or wait until December to get the more visually appealing PC version of the game. DOOM and Double D Dodgeball delisted from XBLA

As recently discovered by GamerBytes,DOOMhas been dropped from Xbox LIVE Arcade. Yeah, remember how XBLA titles will sort of just vanish without the slightest warning? It’s happened yet again. Although this time, the removal presumably had to do with the licensing side of things, as Activision was the one who published this port. If that is the case, thenDOOM IIshould be fine.Double D Dodgeball, on the other hand, doesn’t seem to have an apparent reason for its removal....

DTOID Show Contest: Max and Tara vs. Plants and Zombies!

If you watch The Destructoid Show (and you should), you likely saw the Plants vs. Zombies contest we ran last week giving away a few hats and figurines that the guys at PopCap Games were nice enough to send our way. Like with most activities, what began as a simple, fun contest quickly turned into something much bigger than either Max or I expected. When we asked our viewers to draw what we would look like as either plants or zombies, I immediately noticed two things....
