The British Board of Film Classification have thoroughly laid down the law on Will Wright’s upcoming game of creature modification and evolution,Spore. The BBFC, which also rates some videogames, have decided that the ostensibly mild violence and the reference of a small alien species as “little buggers” is enough to warrant a PG rating. I loveFrogger, at least in theory. The original game offered a great mix of maze-game maneuvering and environmental hazards that managed to capture many hours of my life as a kid. Lately though, the series has come off as a tad uninspired. Thankfully, Tak Fujii is helming the upcoming titleFrogger 3D, and if there is one thing this guy doesn’t lack, it’s inspiration. For spring break, while everyone was enjoying themselves south of the border, I went north, to Tokyo. My whole thought process was that while I was there, I’d be able to go ahead and compare what it’s like in Tokyo’s Akihabara District versus Osaka’s Den Den Town.
