Valve continues to give and give when it comesTeam Fortress 2. Their latest experiment sees bot support for the frantic first person shooter. Beta testing is going on right now and you can go check out what the bots are like on three King of the Hill maps, koth_viaduct, koth_sawmill, and koth_nucleus. Since this is the beta, you’ll have to manually add the bots into your game using the console command. TheTeam Fortress 2blog has details on how to do it.

Right now, the bots are pretty simple and can’t capture flags, capture points, or push carts. They can however kill you todeath. The bots move and fire by using “virtual buttons”, respond in matches like a real player would and don’t cheat like the f**king bots inPerfect Dark 64do.
