The above video demonstrates the Wiimote implementation inThe Godfather: Blackhand Edition, which is just a longer way of sayingWii Godfather. And while one of my biggest gripes with the Wii is its inefficiency in handling ports from other consoles, I have to admit that (if this video is any indication) EA looks to be on the right track.Surprisingly, the damn thing looks pretty fun. Granted, there are about half a dozen times when the playtester makes a gesture and the game doesn’t recognize it, and it’s disappointing that the driving is handled through the analog stick instead of gestures (asCoD 3andWarioWare: Smooth Movesexecuted so well) but you’ve gotta admit that this looks to be a much better port than, say,Splinter Cell.
