This week’s new PlayStation Store offerings are kind of slim. At least, they’re slim if you don’t ownDead Spaceor lack the funds to buy everything but the kitchen sink for the game. A whopping total oftwelve new downloadable packsare being offered for the faithful. The one that really grabs me is the “Scorpion Pack” ($3.99), because that suit looks ridiculously rad.
In addition toDead Space’s add-on content, there are a few new costumes being offered forLittleBigPlanet. The Sack in the Box Costume is totally free, but theLocoRococostumesare coming in at $2.99. The important thing to note is that it’s Sackboy dressed as one of five possible LocoRocos. It’s like creating a rift of awesomeness in the universe.
Another tantalizing offer is the download forBioShock’s Challenge Rooms($9.99). We’ve covered that pretty well, and if you’re looking for an enhanced BioShock experience, this may be up your alley. As usual, there’s a bunch of songs ready for your rhythm needs.Rock Band’sDead Kennedys packis supposedly awesome, but I still think the game needs more System Syn or Snake River Conspiracy.
