This weekend,The MinibossesandMC Frontalotwere in town. Well, The Minibosses live here, but that’s neither here nor there. They were performing at a party forKingdom of LoathingCon V (which was also open to the public) and, as expected, it was a great show. The show was stolen, however, byMC Lars.
I’d heard of MC Lars but wasn’t familiar with his stuff. He classifies his music as “Post-punk laptop hip-hop,” which is as good a description as I could possibly give it. Dude can rhyme, though, and he samples a good bit of videogame music in his stuff. Swing byhis siteand download a few tracks or, as he would encourage, go download a torrent and give him a listen. I’m getting hooked on it.
