The animations, tone, and the encapsulation of Riddick’s personality seemed spot on. Today Atari released this trailer, dubbed “Desperation.”It begins with Riddick’s voice. “I’m hell’s messenger,” he says. “Name’s Riddick.” Rock music then blasts and a series of quick cuts highlight action elements in the game. Night vision, hand-to-hand combat, and shooting are all shown in frenzied snippets.The antihero has never looked better. Then again, there’s not alogicalway to make him look silly.Assault on Dark Athenais slated to come out in early April on the Xbox 360, PC, and PlayStation 3. Make sure to hit upour preview.
