For some reason I’m more excited aboutWar in the Norththan most other games in the coming months, and the only other person I know who seemssimilarly excitedis Liam. There’s just something about kicking back and action-RPGing your way through yet anotherLord of the Ringsgame, listening to the familiar movie tunes, turning off your brain, and going “Ohh, this is that thing they briefly mentioned in the book!”
The Barrow-wight Lord depicted in this trailer is a boss in the Barrow-downs tombs, possibly a lord, finally confirming decades of speculation about a Barrow-wight boss potentially making an appearance in a LOTR-related piece of interactive entertainment. He’ll act all bossy and send terrifying skeletons archers at your party; the kind that from the looks of it doesn’t actually have arrows to shoot. How do you defend against invisible arrows?
On a more serious note, I do hopeWar in the Northends up being at least decent and playable enough in single player. I never seem to have any success playing through any full game in co-op with one other person, let alone two.
