Wii owners have really gotten the short end of the stick when it comes toRock Band, if the complaints about the Wii port had anything to say about it. We heard in late October that it was possible thatRock Band 2for the Wiicould be delayed into 2009, but MTV Games quelled our worries, saying that the bundles would ship in late December.
However, if you put stock in the words of theofficial website,Rock Band 2for the Wii will not ship until January 5th, 2009 … definitely not what fans of the series were hoping for. Retailers such as Best Buy, Amazon, Walmart and Gamestop still have it listed for a November release date, but seeing that January release on the official site kind of hammered the nail into the coffin for me.
