You can’t make an announcement without a ton of promotional videos, and Sony Ericsson’s covered its butt with the Xperia Play today.
There’s a lot of marketing speak and hype here, but also some great information, along with some footage of the device in action. You might even learn a few things. For example, did you know those little empty circle pads where analog sticks should be are actually touch sensitive, and can be used for analog stick-style control?
The Xperia Play is out worldwide next month; Verizon customers in the United States get it first, so consider your contracts carefully.
