Anyone remember when Ubisoft ported Unreal Engine 2 to the Wii forRed Steel? That worked out pretty well, right? Right … ? Speakingto Kikizo, Epic’s Mark Rein confirms that someone, somewhere, is actually trying to port Unreal Engine 3 to Nintendo’s console.
“I know one of our licensee who’s giving it a shot,” Rein said of the mystery developer. “It’s their own port, in the same way Ubisoft brought Unreal Engine 2 to the Wii.”
Anyone want to take a guess as to which licensee Rein might be talking about? And better yet, someone answer this doozy of a question: Why bother?
