Apparently playing too muchShinobiaround the office, Sega has decided to sneak up on the Internet withbeta sign-upsfor their upcoming RTS,Universe at War: Earth Assault. For the lucky who will be chosen, the beta begins on August 15, a few months before the game ships. The game will also be released on the Xbox 360 early next year (including cross-platform play), but this beta is PC only … suckers!
I had a chance to sit down and watch a demo of thisUniverse at Warat E3, and its shaping up nicely. I mean, any RTS that has a race that uses everything from humans and cars as a resource is tops in my book. But definitely check it out for yourself, help Sega and Petroglyph Games (the title’s developer) balance the combat, and do some good for a change. Seriously.
