No love for Lara? Last monthwe heard buzz aboutthe potential buyout of SCi Entertainment, who you might know better as Eidos. At the time, the rumor was that Ubisoft was in line to buy them up, butnow it looks likethey’ve moved on to other things.
“Ubisoft has no intention of making an offer for SCI-Eidos,” an Ubisoft spokesperson toldReuters. “We are looking at other opportunities for external and internal growth which can create more potential value for shareholders.”
With Ubisoft out of the equation, that still leaves the previously mentioned Time Warner and another unnamed Chinese company to nabTomb Raider’smaker.
